ōDash is a digital marketing system created for Do it Best hardware store owners.
With 700+ co-op members, corporate wanted a way to help both multi-store members and small mom and pop stores to succeed in the digital space.
Utilizing a subscription model, members choose to participate on a month-to-month basis.
Corporate creates “turnkey” campaigns for members who don’t want to be hands-on with digital promotions, but each campaign can be fully customized by members who do want more control.
Here is an example of an In-Store Specials landing page that was generated by ōDash.
Taking this project from an idea we sold to a fully functional software product was quite a challenge. After many brainstorm sessions, I created the first user journey map, and once we had refined that as a team, I began wireframing each screen.
Originally, we planned to make the web app responsive, but after some research and talk with Do it Best Corporate, our team realized we should keep momentum behind the desktop app and make a mobile experience a Phase II item. After collaborating to define the user journey and feature set, my role was to finalize visual design for each screen.
Today, ōDash is thriving, and even led our company to partner with Do it Best to redesign their eCommerce experience. We will soon be able to integrate those eCom metrics into the system as well.
